UNITED STATES
Federal Electoral Commission – a federal agency created “to administer and enforce the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) – the statute that governs the financing of federal elections. The duties of the FEC, which is an independent regulatory agency, are to disclose campaign finance information, to enforce the provisions of the law such as the limits and prohibitions on contributions, and to oversee the public funding of Presidential elections.” The FEC does not directly administer elections in the United States.
UNITED KINGDOM
Electoral Commission – a government agency established “to support well-run elections and referendums in the UK, offering support and guidance to those involved.” Actual elections in the UK are administered by local government officials. The Commission is also responsible for regulating laws relating to political party finance, and maintains the registers of political parties in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Elections Canada – the independent national authority responsible for conducting federal elections and referendums.
NEW ZEALAND
Electoral Commission – “an independent Crown entity responsible for the administration of parliamentary elections and referenda, the allocation of time and money for the broadcast of election programmes, conduct of the Māori Electoral Option, servicing the work of the Representation Commission, the provision of advice, reports and public education on electoral matters, and electoral enrolment services for both parliamentary and local elections.”

Electoral Commission of India – an autonomous, constitutionally established federal authority responsible for administering all electoral processes in India.
PAKISTAN
Electoral Commission of Pakistan – is an independent, autonomous, and constitutionally established federal institution responsible with the function of administrating the general electoral process in Pakistan.
